Me: make your own stuff or respect the rule of the people who make you stuff when you wont do it yourself. Them: Un I guess modders and game devs are all thieves because they use other peoples stuff!!!!!!!! Me: Oh yes everyone who makes anything is a thief!1!! No dumbass only the ones who steal things that they are not supposed to use. Artists create things and have rules for how their creations will be used and not following those rules when using it is theft. What the fuck do you think copyright is? I'm a game dev so don't try and use that excuse with me you little jerk, when a company uses another game engine they are required by law to use it a certain way or they are no longer allowed to use it so yes if they break their contract with the engine creator they are a thief if they continue to use the other persons stuff in that way. Most mods are not sold for money therefor the people who made the assets are not losing money. Not to mention you usually have to buy the game to mod
